Mrs Elizabeth (Lil) Carrigan

Hon. CEO formed the Australian Pain Management Association Inc. (APMA) Lil formed the organization in 2009 in response to a need for improved health and community services for consumers living with severe persistent pain. 

APMA is a national consumer health promotion charity for individuals with persistent pain and their families.  APMA delivers a range of community-based services, including Pain Link helpline, pain support groups and self-management education.

Elizabeth is an accredited Leader of Chronic Disease Self-Management. She is currently on the Self-Help Queensland Board, Director on the Board of Painaustralia Ltd, and in 2014 became the representative for the Western Pacific with the International Association for the Study of Pain’s International Public Panel for Education.
